This home received the National Historic Trust  Home of the year award in the category "Most Sensitive Renovation."

 

This turn-of- the-century Dutch Colonial in Westfield, NJ received a much needed facelift and structural repairs, as well as modern amenities in a new rear wing.

 

Maintaining the existing rooflines and details was essential for a proper fit of new to old.  The addition features a modern kitchen, rear entry and stair hall, family room and master suite.  Development of the attic allowed the creation of a third floor covered balcony.
