This existing shore house with ocean views had a 1980 aesthetic with single sloped roofs, exposed piers, and no exterior detail.  The addition and alteration converted this tired design into a contemporary home. The new elements concealed the exposed piers and asymmetrical structure with cladding creating a new facade that is balanced and elegant. The entry was redesigned to provide a formal entry and glazed stair hall.  The exterior was transformed with large open roof decks, contemporary siding, windows, and glass rails.  The project is a great example of exterior and interior transformation.
