The project consisted of expanding a 1900 eclectic Tudor.  The client’s need was to expand the existing master suite to enlarge the bedroom, create two walk-in closets, and alter the master bath.

 

By removing the existing sunroom roof, extending the second floor with a new swept roofline and dormer, the existing home now  appears more authentically Tudor. 

 

No need for additional space was requested on first floor.  The new design took advantage of the covered space by making a terraced covered porch with the ability to install screens.
